Just a block away from Grand Central Station and Madison Avenue, home to some of the greatest advertising agencies to ever exist, Agency of Record is cocktail bar that is a tribute to the golden era of New York City advertising, where anything went, and anything goes. POSITION SUMMARYAgency of Record is seeking motivated Junior Sous Chef with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. This position will be responsible for organizing and executing prep, as well as cooking on the line for service. This position is salary with an expected working week of around 45hours. The ideal candidate should have the following experience and skills: Formally training from an accolade institute or 1+ years working in fine dining/accolade restaurants. Advanced and accurate knife skills Ability to read and follow recipes and standards Ability to consistently produce the same product. Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills (Spanish +) Capability to teach and mentor others Experience with a variety of cooking styles and techniques Ability to adapt and make decisions quickly in a fast-paced environment Experience organizing kitchen operations We look forward to speaking with you!
